Gott im Himmel

as i was peacefully making my way to work a horrible sight struck my eyes, well no so much horrible as extremely surprising. Thousands of bees had decided to uproot themselves and touch their dainty feet down to the bark of this tree and when that surface was quite depleted upon the backs of their sisters in arms. i stalked my way within 5 feet of the tree without provoking a beelike response and took about 20 pictures of which i kept like 5. i guess that's what trying to photograph a hive colony means.

Day I don't even fucking know anymore(day 7)

I don't have any pictures to represent this other than this, it's what i looked at for about 45 minutes today while I thought about... Well Emily being gone has granted me with extreme lapses in concentration and gumption, today I spent the better part of my thinking time (the time when I wake up and am still tired enough to stay in bed) staring at a moving ceiling fan and thinking about just how much I miss her.

There is something disconcerting about water in motion. It never stands still, not even for a picture. Swollen with snow melt (finally) the mountain waters will push 2 ton boulders downstream making noises somewhat akin to a civil war.
